Before leaving the United Kingdom to play Division I basketball at the University of Maine, homegrown Chantel Charles attended Barking Abbey’s Basketball Academy where she thrived as a forward. After spending four seasons playing professionally in Spain for Batalyaws, Arxil Pontevedra and CBD Clarinos, Charles returns to the UK where she will become an important part of the Lions’ squad with her defensive presence.
