Easter Sunday’s late afternoon  Clash Saw the London Lions Outlast the Manchester Giants, 90-96. Player of the Game, Aaron Best Hits Six 3 Pointers En Route to Regular Season High Points Total of 28 Points

Another 4-0 regular season series sweep was added to the London Lions’ treasure trove after the capital city favourites beat the Manchester Giant 90-96 on the road in the afternoon’s Easter Sunday Clash.

Canadian national player and Player of the Game Aaron Best posted a BBL Championship career-high of 28 points to help to stir the ship through “turbulent waters.” Best complimented his points production with six rebounds, two assists and one steal.  

Tomislav “Zuba” Zubcic and Team captain Sam Dekker recorded 11 points apiece. Zubcic complimented his points on the board with three rebounds, three assists and two steals. Dekker grabbed six rebounds, dished out three assists and claimed a game-high three steals to help London edge out the Giants.

The Lions' facilitation was led by Jordan Taylor, who recorded six assists with five rebounds and seven points. Impassioned guard Miye Oni contributed seven points, five assists, one steal and one block. 

Josh Sharma led the bench mob with eleven points in his return to the side after being sidelined through injury over the past several games. The big man helped London’s defensive efforts with one block, one steal, and two steals during his minutes-restricted time on the hardwood. 

Pick-and-roll specialist Luke Nelson supported his brethren with ten points, four assists, and four rebounds on one steal. Vojtech Hruban came off the bench to record seven points, two rebounds and one block.
